What brought you to Bikram Yoga?

Todd: Looking to build strength and flexibility and to lower stress levels.
Dixon: Curiosity and intrigue brought me to my first Bikram Yoga class nearly one year ago. On a sheer whim, I took a class and almost fainted, as my body was not accustomed to function in a heated environment. The next day I returned at the instructor’s suggestion and over a year later, I attempt to continue working on my practice.

What keeps you practicing Bikram Yoga?
Todd: The balance it brings to m y life
Dixon: Bikram Yoga, in my opinion, has significantly changed my life in many ways. I have always had a small frame and was down right skinny as a child, often teased by peers growing up. Since the practice is conducted through specific dialogue in front of a mirror, it allows me to appreciate my body and see the physical changes that take place over time. Overall, I keep practice because I am more confident in myself and enjoy the community that is built at the studio that I practice at.
