I've been helplessly hooked on Bikram Yoga ever since my first class in 2001. I had just returned to life as a full time student to pursue a Master's degree in nursing so I was lucky enough to have the time to practice regularly. By the end of my intro week I was signed up to work at the studio for free classes. From then on the yoga has been such an important part of balancing my life but I certainly never thought I would end up teaching it. That was a natural progression that I willingly followed, eventually I went to the teacher training in spring of 2006.
Beyond what it can do for the physical body, what is most important to me is what yoga can do for the mind and spirit. It's amazing how a disciplined practice goes beyond the studio and permeates into life... that's why I love it so much.
